Due to the nature of our products (often printed to order or limited editions), Effing Tees does not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges if you have changed your mind, ordered the incorrect size, or no longer want the item.
Defective or Damaged Goods
In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), within 6 months of delivery you have the right to return a defective product and choose a repair, replacement, or full refund. We will honour this right for items that are materially defective, such as significant printing errors or manufacturing faults.
The Resolution Process
If an item is found to be defective, you may choose a repair, replacement, or refund as your remedy in accordance with section 56 of the CPA. We will process your chosen remedy promptly upon verification of the defect.
How to Claim
Claims for defective items must be made within 6 months of delivery. Please email [eff.this.tee@gmail.com] with your order or invoice number and clear photographs of the defect.
Legal Notice
In terms of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), the statutory 7-day cooling-off period does NOT apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized. Most Effing Tees products fall under this category.
Gifted Something Awesome?
There are certain situations where exchanges are granted: if you’ve received an Effing Tees product as a gift and need a different size or design, we’re happy to exchange it — provided the item is from the standard catalogue, it’s unworn, unwashed, and returned with its original tags within 30 days of delivery. Please email us at [eff.this.tee@gmail.com] with your name, a photo of the item, and what you’d like instead, and we’ll take it from there.
